We welcomed the Tirschenreuth School-Business Network to our company headquarters in Falkenberg. Around 35 representatives from schools and 27 from the business world took part. IGZ opened its doors for a company tour, a professional exchange between the school and business representatives and gave personal insights into training. For us, it was the biggest event to date as part of the network.

Supply chains disrupted by negative events have been plentiful in recent years. They showed their vulnerability and the dependencies that exist. Insourcing, stockpiling and the recovery of process sovereignty as far as possible, to name just a few examples, have moved into the corporate focus. LogiMAT takes up these topics with the motto "Connecting Smart Networks" and IGZ shows in Stuttgart in Hall 1 as SAP EWM general contractor and in Hall 8 as SAP EWM project house those smart intralogistics and SAP solutions that are needed to prepare for the future now.

The Upper Austrian Aspöck Group is turning a proverbial "big wheel". Due to the very good sales forecasts, it will logistically realign itself for its automotive customers in less than two years.

As part of a digitization initiative in production, the food manufacturer Hilcona has introduced a future-proof Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Various isolated applications were replaced and the system landscape was standardized. Thanks to know-how transfer by the participating SAP project house IGZ, the system can now be rolled out and adapted almost independently.

With the introduction of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Hilcona AG, as a food manufacturer in the fresh convenience sector, has created a new standard for all manufacturing processes and locations throughout the company. Without the use of any paper, continuous digitization has since enabled seamless monitoring as well as online traceability and documentation of the product origins of all production processes in real time.

IGZ is included in the ranking of the "Top System Integrators" of the magazine "Materialfluss" for the first time and makes it to rank 25 right away. The ranking includes the system integrators with the highest turnover and also intralogistics companies that are represented on the market as system integrators.

The ranking of the magazine "Materialfluss", the professional medium of intralogistics, was surveyed for the 4th time and lists the system integrators with the highest turnover. This time, 40 companies were asked to submit their sales, EBIT and employee figures.

Companies active on the European market were requested. It should be noted that the top-ranked suppliers all manufacture their own mechanics. This means that as a "classic" system integrator with our focus on SAP EWM and without our own mechanics production, we virtually occupy pole position in this ranking.

In 2022, we have once again decided to forego Christmas gifts for business partners. Instead, IGZ is donating the money earmarked for this purpose to seven food banks, social organisations and individual projects run by these organisations.

In mid-December 2022, the donation cheques for 2,000 euros each were presented to the food banks, associations and organisations at the company's Erbendorf site and at its headquarters in Falkenberg. A total of 14,000 euros will go to a good cause.

On October 26 and 27, 2022 we invited for the first time to the IGZ INNOVATION DAYS and were pleased about more than 150 visitors. The two varied event days were all about warehouse, transport and production logistics, all about the SAP supply chain modules. The who's who of the industry gathered in the northern Upper Palatinate. We take a look back at the event.

Many highlights awaited the visitors at the IGZ INNOVATION DAYS, such as the SAP keynote speech by Jörg Michaelis, Vice President and Head of Logistics Product Management at SAP SE.

Ypsomed Holding AG is a Swiss listed company with headquarters in Burgdorf. Through a global network of production sites, subsidiaries and sales partners, approximately 1,900 employees generate annual sales equivalent to around 400 million euros.

The continuing success is driven by the two umbrella brands: "mylife Diabetescare" for the manufacture and sale of infusion and blood glucose monitoring systems, among others, and "Ypsomed Delivery Systems" for pen and auto-injectors, among others.

The two Upper Palatinate-based companies GRAMMER and IGZ can now look back on 15 years of successful business relations. During this time, we have implemented a number of software projects in GRAMMER logistics for the Amberg-based company, ensuring that GRAMMER's warehouse and transport management is always one step ahead of the tough competition in the automotive industry.

This successful collaboration was honoured on the occasion of the latest project with a symbolically planted tree and a small ceremony at the IGZ site in Falkenberg.
