Transport-safe loading and the associated inspections are becoming increasingly complex. For the shipper, one of the most important requirements is to check that loading is safe for transportation and operation. Particular attention is paid to the loading of dangerous goods. In addition to checking for mixed loading bans and the 1,000 points ADR rule, the vehicle must also have the appropriate dangerous goods equipment.
Mobile Truck Check
The IGZ Best Practice Mobile Truck Check significantly simplifies the inspection process for the shipper. The SAP UI5 app provides a digital checklist adapted to the freight order to be loaded. The necessary information is displayed in a simple and image-guided manner.
To compile this check dialog, the Mobile Truck Check pulls all transport-relevant data from SAP TM. In addition to the vehicle, it also checks whether the driver has all the necessary qualifications to carry out the transport. In the case of hazardous goods transports, in addition to the driver's license check, the ADR certificate is also checked as part of the check, for example.
At the end of the check, an acknowledgement by the shipper and the driver is integrated so that both confirm that the check has been carried out correctly.
Mobile Truck Check thus offers the user an audit-proof way of fulfilling the obligation to carry out a loading check. No manual or organizational effort is required to select and compile the correct checklists. The scope of the checklists can be defined and adapted. Depending on the requirements, special instructions can be displayed for the shipper, for example.
