At the same time, SAP MII (SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence) is also web-based, and links the production cycles of process-oriented production with the SAP ERP (SAP Enterprise Resource Planning) suite.
Our IGZ software barns
About IGZ
IGZ is located in Falkenberg in the northern Upper Palatinate - this is where we are at home. From here we develop software solutions for warehousing, production and transport, which are used by well-known companies all over the world.
Since the foundation of IGZ in 1999 in a revitalized, so-called software barn, we have grown constantly over the past years and now have more than 550 employees. In 2011, IGZ Automation GmbH was integrated into the IGZ group of companies. In our plant in Erbendorf, electrical and control technology for automated, SAP-controlled logistics systems is manufactured, which IGZ realizes as a general contractor.
IGZ software barns - maximum environmental compatibility.
In 2010, 2015 and 2020, further buildings were added, most recently the software barn 5.0 (on the right in the picture). The IGZ buildings are emblematic of our history and connection to Falkenberg. They combine tradition and modernity.
Regional raw materials were used in their construction: Wood, granite and glass. We pursue measures for maximum environmental compatibility and the best possible reduction of our CO₂ footprint. For example, we purchase 100% green electricity, rely on geothermal energy and the use of sustainable, environmentally friendly technology.
