Zero-Touch - Green - AI: SAP Next Level Intralogistics with IGZ

IGZ Falkenberg, 17.01.2024 // Automation, sustainability and artificial intelligence are omnipresent topics and have a massive impact on the future viability of supply chains. LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, will address these challenges in 2024 under the motto "Shaping Change Together". IGZ will be presenting pioneering solutions to visitors at two trade fair stands in order to make the supply chain fit for the future.

Top trends in logistics

Companies are constantly on the lookout for solutions to optimize processes and further automate their logistics, for example by expanding zero-touch solutions, in order to counteract the ongoing shortage of skilled workers.

This is because around three quarters of those surveyed in a BVL study believe that the shortage of skilled workers will become even more acute in the coming years1. The use of AI-based applications also helps to make the massively increased complexity of systems manageable and to make better decisions. Resource conservation and energy efficiency are also the focus of logistics managers and must be taken into account in all areas.

IGZ Managing Director Johann Zrenner 's motto here is: "The best energy is the energy you don't need."

One step ahead with innovations

From March 19 to 21, IGZ will be presenting smart best-practice solutions based on SAP standard software for intralogistics24+ at LogiMAT in Stuttgart and showing how zero-touch, green and AI can be profitably integrated into the supply chain: The IGZ plug-in robotics solution "LUKE" brings more speed, safety and increased quality through automated single-item picking.

Using AI algorithms, the Smart Logistics Cockpit offers numerous control center functions to automatically and proactively detect critical operating conditions via an alert monitor and initiate countermeasures at an early stage. Last but not least, in the area of transport management, IGZ will be showcasing sustainable solutions that help companies to make all transport processes along the supply chainCO2-neutral.

With two presentations on the topics of 'Conception of zero-touch logistics' and 'High-performance distribution logistics at the bilstein group', IGZ will be demonstrating concrete application possibilities and successfully implemented solutions.

Visitors will find IGZ in Hall 1, Stand B25 and in Hall 8, Stand B41.
