IGZ - The SAP engineers can now look back on the 500th successful go-live of the SAP EWM extended warehouse management system. The go-live in Kozieglowy, Poland, took place in parallel to the ongoing main SAP EWM project for the Hawle Austria Group, which is headquartered in Vöcklabruck.

In reaching the 500 mark, IGZ, based in Falkenberg, Opf., is continuing to expand its position as a leading SAP EWM general contractor in the area of intralogistics, especially in connection with automated warehouse technology. This is because the lion's share of the 500 SAP EWM projects was also implemented with the SAP material flow component MFS (Material Flow System).

For dormakaba, a batch size of one is not a trend, but has long been a reality. By introducing the SAP Manufacturing Execution (SAP ME) and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) standard software at its Wetzikon site, the provider of access and security solutions has taken an important step towards becoming a connected company. The ambitious project was implemented together with IGZ, the SAP project centre for production and logistics.

Today's dormakaba Holding AG, headquartered in Rümlang, Switzerland, was formed in 2015 from the merger of the Dorma and Kaba brands.

Commercial vehicle parts wholesaler Winkler has invested around 45 million euros in the construction of a third central warehouse.

The new logistics property in Himberg near Vienna, the planning and implementation of which was handled by the SAP EWM general contractor IGZ from Falkenberg in the Upper Palatinate, is geared primarily to supplying the Eastern European markets and will relieve the burden on Winkler's Kassel and Ulm locations. The required system performance is ensured by the optimum interaction of mechanics, SPS and SAP EWM standard software.

Within the scope of the SAP partner Edge Programs, IGZ also continues to prove its expertise with this annual certification (such as product expertise, project implementation or project experiences) in the implementation of SAP production solutions in the area of SAP manufacturing execution system (SAP MES). IGZ was again recognised by SAP as an SAP Recognized Expertise Partner for SAP SCM This annual certification is proof of IGZ’s competencies (e.g. product expertise, project implementation, or project experience) in the realisation of logistics solutions in the area of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM). This means that IGZ clients benefit from extensive improvement competence, right down to specialised industry experience.
