Record attendance at LogiMAT: IGZ again represented with 2 stands

First Hannover Messe, then LogiMAT - this April one leading trade fair followed the next! Our IGZ team was still in action at the Hannover Messe in the previous week, until it left for Stuttgart directly afterwards - with the goal of LogiMAT 2023!

The international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management took place from April 25 to 27, 2023. Here we again had the opportunity to talk to the visitors about how they take their logistics processes in production & distribution to the next level. Whoever roamed the exhibition halls did not see double: because we were also at LogiMAT this year with two booths: at the booth in Hall 1 we were represented with our services as SAP EWM general contractor. And in Hall 8 we were represented vis-à-vis SAP as an SAP partner and holistic contact for Logistics 4.0, based on a complete Digital Supply Chain. An absolute highlight was the newly conceived and designed booth.

Exciting: This time there were noticeably more trade fair visitors in the halls than ever before. According to the organizers, LogiMAT 2023 achieved the best result since the inception of the show: During the three days of the trade fair, a total of 62,343 trade visitors:inside were counted, which corresponds to an increase of 25 percent compared to the previous year.

Robotics & AI, specialist presentations and a Bavarian finale

At LogiMAT, we had robotics & AI in our luggage in the form of our IGZ Best Practices, such as PICK-BY-ROBOT, a fully automated, camera-based picking solution that enables 100% picking reliability as well as a zero-error rate in 24/7 operation. We also presented PICK-BY-MOTION , the alternative to conventional picking systems with intuitive gesture control. Visitors to the stand were able to try out the technology for themselves. Of course, our HAWK3, the "eye of logistics", was not to be missed.

At the popular "Forum Innovations" at the fair we were present with 2 presentations. One was on the topic of "Solving the shortage of skilled workers - automating intralogistics", which was presented by speaker Ronald Hauzeneder, Sales Manager SAP EWM General Contractor at IGZ. And our colleague and speaker Volker Sturm, Head of Logistics Planning at IGZ, gave the presentation "Intralogistics 2023+ | with AI and CO₂ neutral".

A very special highlight - for us and our guests - was our daily trade fair finale with typical Upper Palatinate Zoigl beer and selected Bavarian specialties.
