Successful LogiMAT IGZ showcases integrated SAP solutions for the intralogistics of today and tomorrow.

In 2026 as well, LogiMAT proved to be the central meeting place for the intralogistics industry. With practical solutions, concrete use cases and personal exchange, IGZ demonstrated at the international trade fair how logistics processes can be designed efficiently and future‑proof on the basis of integrated SAP solutions.

LogiMAT 2026: A platform for current developments

Once again this year, LogiMAT confirmed its importance as the leading international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management. More than 1,600 exhibitors from over 40 countries showcased in Stuttgart how automation, digitalization and intelligent data processing are increasingly setting the pace in warehousing and transport. In addition to technological innovations and the ongoing shortage of skilled workers, topics such as scalability and integration moved further into focus in 2026.

The trade fair also sent a clear signal with the early inclusion of humanoid robotics, which for the first time was discussed not only as a vision but also in intralogistics application scenarios. However, the technology is still at an early stage of development, meaning its practical relevance for intralogistics remains uncertain at present.

IGZ at LogiMAT

IGZ was once again represented with two exhibition stands and presented SAP‑based end‑to‑end solutions for intralogistics, from planning and control through to operational execution. In numerous discussions with customers, partners and interested parties, it became clear that integrated automation solutions, AI‑based functions and flexible system architectures are key factors for future‑ready logistics processes.

Another central topic was the new SAP Logistics Management (SAP LGM) module. The native cloud-based solution attracted considerable interest, particularly due to its rapid implementation and clear focus on standardized warehousing and transportation processes. It integrates planning, control, and operational execution in a lean, API-based system architecture and is primarily aimed at less complex intralogistics scenarios.

Live demos: SAP standard software in practice

At the heart of IGZ’s trade fair presence were practical showcases demonstrating how SAP standard software, combined with modern automation and intelligent enhancements, creates added value for customers:

The best practices on display illustrated how complex logistics processes can be mapped in a scalable and reliable manner.

Expert presentations and personal exchange

IGZ’s expert presentations also attracted strong interest from visitors. Topics included automated plant logistics using SAP EWM templates as well as success factors for scalable logistics solutions with SAP EWM and SAP TM. The presentations provided valuable insights into real projects and led to in‑depth discussions at the exhibition stands.

Furthermore, LogiMAT offered a high-caliber panel discussion on key industry topics with the Expert Forum “LogiMAT Summit 2026: The Top Trends in Intralogistics”, in which IGZ Managing Director Johann Zrenner also participated.

A fixed highlight of the trade fair week was once again the traditional IGZ Zoigl evening. In a relaxed atmosphere, guests took the opportunity for personal exchange and discussions about current challenges and project ideas.

Thank you for a successful LogiMAT 2026

We would like to thank all visitors for their great interest, the inspiring discussions and the open exchange. For IGZ, LogiMAT was characterized by new impulses, concrete project approaches and valuable contacts.

We are already looking forward to LogiMAT 2027, taking place from March 16 - 18 in Stuttgart.
