Precision meets automation IGZ sets standards for integrated logistics solutions in global supply chains
IGZ Falkenberg, 21.01.2026 // At LogiMAT from 24-26.03.2026, the Upper Palatinate-based company will be demonstrating how the art of German engineering, innovative spirit and SAP standard software are used to create sophisticated logistics solutions that set global standards and drive companies forward.
IGZ combines strategic consulting, software development, automation technology and project management with more than 600 employees under one roof. This structure enables an extraordinary depth of implementation and significantly reduces interfaces. As an SAP EWM general contractor and SAP partner, IGZ is responsible for the planning, implementation and subsequent servicing of intralogistics systems. Customers benefit from clear responsibilities, high planning reliability and a central point of contact.
More than SAP standard: IGZ creates innovative solutions with a measurable advantage
All of IGZ's solutions are based on standard SAP software and extend it with innovative approaches: In the logistics sector, this includes SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) for warehouse management, SAP Material Flow System (MFS) for the direct control of conveyor technology and driverless transport systems and SAP Transportation Management (TM) for transports outside the warehouse. In the production environment, IGZ uses SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) for automated control. Full integration into the customer's SAP system landscape creates transparency, reduces interfaces and enables end-to-end real-time control from the warehouse to production and transport logistics.
In addition, IGZ supplements the standard software with proven best-practice solutions. This allows customers to benefit from tried-and-tested packages and seamlessly integrate state-of-the-art, AI-based functions such as intelligent putaway strategies, object recognition and AI control station functions into their systems.
"Our customers don't expect off-the-shelf solutions, but systems that are precisely tailored to their processes: Innovative, economical and resilient"
explains Johann Zrenner, Managing Director at IGZ.
"We solve the challenges of digital transformation, fragmented system landscapes or a lack of transparency with well thought-out, cross-location SAP SCM solutions that enable a seamless flow of data and materials."
Investment security and independence
IGZ's central concern is to offer customers long-term investment security. "We create end-to-end integrated solutions based on SAP without tying our customers to proprietary technologies or manufacturer-specific systems," emphasizes Alfred Meyer, Managing Director at IGZ. "This protects against a vendor lock situation and preserves independence over the entire life cycle of a system."
IGZ offers its customers the opportunity to realize projects from a single source across all project phases: from the initial idea to implementation and continuous further development during operation, including retrofit solutions for existing systems.
This creates a partnership-based cooperation that not only realizes projects, but also opens up long-term perspectives. IGZ can look back on numerous long-standing customer relationships that are characterized by trust, technical excellence and joint development.
Trade fair highlights at LogiMAT 2026
- In Hall 1, Stand B25, IGZ will be presenting its expertise as an SAP EWM general contractor and logistics planner. The focus is on smart automation solutions, efficient robotics applications and innovative solutions for the plant control center, with which companies can exploit the full potential of their plants and generate sustainable added value.
In Hall 4, Stand B41, IGZ will be demonstrating the pioneering role it has played in the use of SAP standard software for over 25 years. Almost two decades ago, IGZ was the first company in the world to implement the first project in which SAP EWM and SAP MFS were used in combination. Today, IGZ is once again setting standards: among other things with AI-based solutions, such as the manufacturer-independent control of AMR with the Move-by-Robots fleet manager, making it a technology pioneer once again.
You too can rely on the expertise of the market leader to future-proof your supply chain.
