IGZ Achieves Top Position in Fraunhofer for SAP EWM/MFS and SAP TM

We are pleased to announce that this year IGZ has been ranked first among logistics IT providers in the SAP EWM/MFS and SAP TM categories by the Fraunhofer Institutes. This top placement underscores IGZ’s leading role in implementing highly specialized SAP logistics solutions.

Results of the Fraunhofer Evaluation

Through a detailed evaluation based on over 5,000 functional requirements, IGZ emerged as the clear leader in both categories:

• SAP EWM/MFS: IGZ ranks first with SAP EWM/MFS. Special mention was made of its comprehensive support for various storage techniques and types, along with its outstanding integration capabilities with material flow control systems (MFS).
• SAP TM: In transport management as well, IGZ secured the top position. The solution impressed with its flexibility and efficiency, especially in multimodal transport chains and the integration of modern telematics and track-and-trace functions.

The Fraunhofer Institutes for Material Flow and Logistics annually analyze the performance of logistics IT providers, with criteria such as process support, adaptability, and user-friendliness as central focal points. The top rankings in both categories confirm IGZ’s market-leading expertise and demonstrate our innovation strength — even in comparison with SAP itself.
