IGZ Single-day Forum SAP Manufacturing 2016

The IGZ Single-day Forum Manufacturing took place on 11 May 2016 already for the eleventh time in the Burg Wernberg Congress Centre. Since then this forum has established itself as the industry event in the field of SAP Manufacturing.

This year too, IGZ presented both the latest SAP MES functions as well as numerous practical live demos and interesting client presentations (including by BERICAP, SEW, Ortlinghaus and HIPP).

The further development and increased use of MES functions in all producing sectors will have a central significance on the route to Industry 4.0.

The familiar MES subjects, such as transparency and traceability as well as efficient employee management will be increasingly expanded to plant integration and evaluation of sensor data for simultaneous flexibility and adaptability of production.

The SAP Manufacturing Suite this year also provides numerous new and improved functions and processes with Version 15.1, which facilitate general INDUSTRY 4.0 scenarios from SAP ERP, to SAP MES, to machine integration "out of the box" in the SAP Standard.

With SAP Manufacturing Execution (SAP ME), SAP provides a complete, configurable MES system for discrete production. SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) is the tried and tested solution for the process industry. The best practice solutions pre-made by IGZ for bulk production, flow production and bottling/packaging also ensure rapid introduction and returns on investment.
