IGZ live on-site at the Hannover Messe 2022

The Hannover Messe was again held in person for the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. IGZ was present as an exhibitor at the world's leading trade fair for industry between 30 May and 2 June 2022 – this time it took place at the same time as the "LogiMAT" in Stuttgart.

With the guiding theme “TRANSFORMING INDUSTRY TOGETHER”, this year’s focus was on digitalisation and sustainability. After intensive weeks of preparation, our trade fair teams were very much looking forward to meeting our existing and potential customers face-to-face again. Around 75,000 people were on-site during the fair, and another 15,000 participated digitally.

With regard to this year's trade fair theme and the two focal points, "Digitalisation and Sustainability", we showed off our broad range in the area of SAP DIGITAL MANUFACTURING, both for discrete manufacturing and for the process industry.

The SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM) provides our customers with a state-of-the-art cloud solution. The proven on-premise modules of the SAP Digital Manufacturing Suite (SAP ME/MII) are also very popular. The solutions are rounded off with hybrid scenarios – combined with cloud-based analytics for online production metrics, predictive analytics for quality assurance and maintenance.

Selected IGZ LIVE DEMOS allowed trade fair visitors to see live in Hanover how processes in production and manufacturing can be optimised with the use of SAP MES. Recently presented with the German Innovation Award, our Worker Assistance System IDA2 was particularly impressive: It makes the "zero defect" strategy for assembly processes and the introduction of INDUSTRIAL INTELLIGENCE a reality.
