German Innovation Award

Intelligent worker assistance system "IDA2

We are pleased to have been awarded the German Innovation Award in Gold for the 2nd time in a row: the 1st time for the robot-controlled single item picking solution LUKE2 and now for IDA2, the "Intelligent Digital Assistant 2", which as a worker assistance system enables automated control over logistics, production and quality processes. The coveted prize is awarded by the jury of the German Design Council, which promotes the competitiveness of companies.

The digital assistant is a world first for assembly workstations. In developing it, we aimed to make work easier for workers and achieve a zero-error strategy. When the worker starts the assembly process, the camera system integrated in IDA2 continuously guides him in conjunction with SAP ME.

State Awards

Bavaria's Best 50

We are pleased to have been honored three times as a BAYERNS-BEST-50 company. With this award, the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs recognizes medium-sized companies for their outstanding economic performance.

The award is presented annually to 50 Bavarian companies whose owners hold executive positions and thus have significant entrepreneurial responsibility. The winners are selected by a renowned and independent auditing firm, which further underlines the importance of this award, for which several hundred companies apply each year.

Bavarian State Medal

IGZ founders Johann Zrenner and Wolfgang Gropengiesser were awarded the State Medal for special services to the Bavarian economy. The Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology honors around 20 entrepreneurial personalities each year for their initiative and exemplary entrepreneurial activities.

Zrenner and Gropengiesser received this highest personal distinction awarded by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs during a ceremonial act of state in Munich. The award is dedicated to all employees of the IGZ Group. Gropengiesser: "We are very pleased that the Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs honors our commitment of the past years in this way. After all, it is important to repeatedly highlight the contribution of medium-sized family businesses to employment and prosperity, especially in our region."

"This is not only an honor for us personally, but also in a special way an appreciation of the successful work of all our employees, whose commitment and performance have made our family business a leader in the German-speaking area," adds Zrenner.
